Our time in school this month feels as if it has been short. We have had a short week the past week, with many still out sick.

Our spring sports are in full swing despite that. Tennis season kicks off March 20 on the home courts. Track is practicing five days a week with meets soon to follow.

The guidance office is preparing to make next year’s schedules, so students and future freshman need to be looking out for their appointment times. Also in the guidance office, seniors have local and regional scholarships available and due dates are quickly approaching.

Senior Blake Helderman signed this week to play football this all at Carson-Newman University. We are proud of Blake and look forward to seeing other seniors sign on college sign day, which will be May 11 at Claiborne High School.
