The Oasis in Harrogate is undergoing a definite spruce-up as the new management brings a touch of urban to the popular bar and grill. However, regulars need not worry about the possible loss of history connected with the popular hangout. The Oasis is holding a photo contest that is geared toward the showcasing of the old and quaint. And, photo buffs will want to get in on this one.
Although there is no cash money to be won at the end of the contest, several winners will have their artwork proudly hung, in perpetuity, upon the walls of the establishment.
Management is looking for photographs of local historical value. Think anything “ole-timey.”
Photogs may enter the contest by emailing their work to OasisPizzaTN@gmail.com. Image resolutions must be a minimum of 1600 x 1200 pixels. The photographs must be original works and, if chosen one among several winners, will become the sole property of the Oasis management.
The photographer’s full name must accompany the submission.
Winners will be notified by email following the March 31 contest judging.
