Estep completes plea hearings

Judge Robert Estep completed several plea agreement hearings recently in Claiborne County Sessions Court, including one for Amanda Lee Slusher, 31, charged with assault.

Slusher was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation and ordered to complete an intensive outpatient rehabilitation program. She must pay at least $75 per month in court costs and fines.

Nora Loy, 19, charged with assault, was granted a deferred judgment of one year, subject to TBI certification, and sentenced to 11 months, 29 days probation. Loy must pay all court costs in full by the end of the diversion on June 7, 2018. She was ordered to complete an Anger Management Course and is barred from contact with her victim.

Jacob Andrew Brock, 26, charged with domestic assault, was granted a deferred judgment of one year, subject to TBI certification, and sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation. Brock must pay at least $75 per month in court costs and fines and was ordered ‘not to assault or attempt to assault’ the victim in this case. He is eligible for unsupervised probation, once found fully compliant.

Jared Hurst, 45, charged with driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident, was sentenced to a concurrent 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with ten days confinement. Hurst is eligible for unsupervised probation once found fully compliant. His driver’s license is revoked per the Department of Safety. This case runs concurrently with prior ones.

Brian Dylan Gambrel, 22, charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injury, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation. Gambrel must pay at least $75 per month in court costs and fines. He is eligible for unsupervised probation once found fully compliant. This case runs concurrently with prior ones.

Jason Andrew Clark, 33, charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving on a revoked or suspended license and violation of the financial responsibility law, was sentenced to a concurrent 29 days confinement. Clark was given credit for 29 days of jail time already served. He must pay at least $250 per month in court costs and fines, including $1,000 in restitution to his victim.

Amanda C. Noe, 36, charged with criminal impersonation, was sentenced to six months unsupervised probation. As a condition of her probationary status, Noe was ordered to pay all court costs in full by Aug. 17.

Rodney Walker, 30, charged with criminal trespassing, was sentenced to 30 days confinement. Walker was given credit for any jail time served since July 18.

David G. Rivera, 42, charged with criminal trespassing, was sentenced to two months of probation. As a condition of his probationary status, Rivera was ordered to pay all court costs in full by Aug. 17. He is barred from his victim’s property.

Darren Cody Gambrel, 25, charged with resisting arrest, was sentenced to six months unsupervised probation with one day of confinement. Gambrel was given credit for one day of jail time already served. As a condition of his probationary status, Gambrel must pay all court costs by Sept. 7.

Nikki Bolinger, 27, charged with resisting arrest, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days confinement. Bolinger was given authorization to be released into the custody of the Knox County system. This sentence runs concurrently with prior ones.

Branden L. King, 32, charged with evading arrest and possession of a schedule IV drugs and drug paraphernalia, was sentenced to two years ETHRA supervised probation with five days confinement. King was given credit for five days of jail time already served. He must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines.

Joseph Edward Nolan, 23, charged with evading arrest and violation of the financial responsibility law, was sentenced to a concurrent 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with ten days confinement. Nolan was given credit for seven days of jail time already served. He must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines. This sentence runs concurrently with prior ones.

Kaitlyn P. Hatfield, 26, charged with escape, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with 20 days confinement. Hatfield must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines beginning 30 days from release. This case runs consecutively to a current sentence being served.

Felicia Jo Fleeman, 28, charged with possession of a schedule II drugs and driving on a suspended license, was sentenced to a concurrent 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with three days confinement. Fleeman was given credit for three days of jail time already served. She must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines. Fleeman is eligible for unsupervised probation once all monetary obligations are met and she is found fully compliant. This sentence runs concurrently with prior ones.

Ronnie Parish, 49, charged with theft under $1,000, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with nine days confinement. Parish was given credit for nine days of jail time already served. He must pay at least $75 per month in court costs and fines and forfeits $75 to the Economic Crime Fund. Parish was ordered to pay $600 in restitution to his victim.

Willard Hall Caldwell, 45, charged with theft under $1,000, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation. Caldwell must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines and forfeits $75 to the Economic Crime Fund. He is barred from the Southern Outdoors property. Caldwell is eligible for unsupervised probation once all monetary obligations are met and he is found fully compliant.

Matthew Ryan Edwards, 22, charged with theft under $500, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with 17 days confinement. Edwards was given credit for nine days of jail time already served. He must serve the balance of his confinement on consecutive weekends. Edwards must pay at least $75 per month in court costs and fines and forfeits $75 to the Economic Crime Fund. He was ordered to pay $211.81 in restitution to Walmart.
