Hudson Cadle may only be 5-years-old, but he has a giant heart. Each year for his birthday he chooses to help others in need. This year for his birthday in collaboration with Home Federal Bank and the Cumberland Trails United Way, he asked his friends and family to donate a coat or jacket instead of buying him a gift.
Hudson is the son of Isaac and Lindsey Cadle of Tazewell.
While the donated coats were initially for his birthday party, he threw a penny in a fountain and wished that “he could get more coats and jackets than his Daddy could carry.” And that he did. So far he has collected 101 and they are still coming in. Cumberland Trails United Way and Home Federal Bank are proud to be a part of this young man’s wishes.
“Congratulations to Hudson Cadle on accomplishing your wish and helping those in need to say warm this winter,” said representatives of both Home Federal Bank and the United Way.
