Homecoming week at Claiborne High was fun for everyone involved. The week started out smoothly with great participation in the dress-up themes.

The breakfast tailgate was a huge success and we would like to thank all of the clubs and departments for their hard work to make the event possible. Our powder-puff game was exciting; the junior/freshman team won with a score of 28-0 over the seniors and sophomores. A special thanks goes out to Ms. Parrish for all of her hard work in organizing the game.

Way Out games were held Thursday and the team “Thunder Chickens” sponsored by Coach O’dell took home first place. Our 2016 homecoming court was crowned during Friday’s game against Unicoi. CHS would like to congratulate Carlee Seals, Taylor Cheatum, Kalen Beeler, and Brittany Middleton for being crowned Princesses of their respective classes. Claiborne High School’s new homecoming queen is Miss Baylee Neely. The Bulldogs took on Unicoi for the homecoming game and suffered a defeat of 22-35.
