There are several efforts ongoing to help victims of the wildfires in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
Lincoln Memorial University as a whole is organizing a collection effort to deliver to the area, according to Kate Reagan, Senior Director of Marketing and Public Relations.
“We will have a truck located at the (Tex Turner) Arena starting tomorrow collecting items to take to Sevier County,” she said.
Reagan added that more information, such as items needed and times for the collection, will be forthcoming. We will have more information as it becomes available.
