Judge Robert Estep considered several plea agreements recently during hearings in Claiborne County Sessions Court.
Jerry Wayne Raines, 61, charged with assault, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation. Raines must pay at least $50 per month in court costs and fines beginning on Dec. 15. He is barred from any contact with his victim. Raines is eligible for unsupervised probation once found fully compliant.

Tessa Blake Laws, 25, charged with child endangerment and possession of methamphetamine, was sentenced to a concurrent 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with 30 days confinement. Laws was given credit for 20 days of jail time already served. She must pay at least $75 per month in court costs and fines beginning on Dec. 15.
Steven Roesch, 25, charged with child endangerment, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation. Roesch was given credit for time already served. He must pay at least $75 per month in court costs and fines beginning on Dec. 15.
Angelina Buchanan, 25, charged with child neglect and possession of a schedule VI drugs, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with four days confinement. Buchanan was given credit for four days of jail time already served. She must pay at least $75 per month in court costs and fines beginning on Dec. 16.
Destiny H. Ayers, 20, charged with driving under the influence, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with two days confinement. Ayers was given credit for jail time already served. She must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines beginning on Jan. 6 and must complete a MADD Victim Impact Panel. Her driver’s license is revoked per the Dept. of Safety. Ayers is eligible for unsupervised probation once all monetary obligations are met and she is found fully compliant.
Richard Wayne Fields Jr., 44, charged with driving under the influence, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with two days confinement. Fields was given credit for 21 hours, eight minutes of jail time already served. He must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines beginning on Jan. 6. Fields must complete the MADD Victim Impact Panel and DUI School. His driver’s license is revoked for one year.
Johnnie Clinton Sturgill, 55, charged with driving under the influence, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with two days confinement. Sturgill was given credit for any time served. He must pay at least $75 per month in court costs and fines and must complete the MADD Victim Impact Panel. His driver’s license is revoked per the Dept. of Safety. Sturgill is eligible for unsupervised probation once all monetary obligations are met and he is found fully compliant.
Mandy Leggans, 39, charged with prescription drug fraud, was sentenced to six months ETHRA supervised probation. Leggans must pay at least $75 per month in court costs and fines beginning on Dec. 15. She is eligible for unsupervised probation once found fully compliant.
Dennis D. Burchett, 64, charged with resisting arrest and possession of a schedule VI drugs, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with four days confinement. Burchett was given credit for four days of jail time already served. He must pay at least $100 in court costs and fines beginning on Dec. 16.
Stephanie S. Swiney, 40, charged with possession of a schedule III drugs, was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation. Swiney must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines beginning on Dec. 15.
Lisa Renee Beason, 51, charged with possession of a schedule II drugs and theft under $500, was sentenced to a concurrent 11 months, 29 days ETHRA supervised probation with three days confinement. Beason was given credit for three days of jail time already served. She must pay at least $100 per month in court costs and fines and forfeits $75 to the Economic Crime Fund. Beason must pay $4 in restitution to the Tazewell Food City Store.

Yeary was given credit for 11 days of jail time already served. He must pay at least $75 per month in court costs and fines and forfeits $75 to the Economic Crime Fund. Yeary is eligible for unsupervised probation once found fully compliant.

Laws was given credit for 11 days of jail time already served. He must pay at least $75 per month in court costs and fines and forfeits $75 to the Economic Crime Fund. He is barred from the New Tazewell Walmart Store.
