The State Collaborative on Reforming Education (SCORE) recognized Meagan England for the completion of the 2015-2016 Tennessee Educator Fellowship. SCORE drives collaboration on policy and practice to ensure student success across Tennessee. This organization is an independent, nonprofit, and nonpartisan advocacy and research institution, founded in 2009 by Senator Bill Frist, MD, former U.S. Senate Majority Leader.
England is the K-8 Reading Interventionist at Forge Ridge School. She also serves as a Tennessee Lead Curator for the Teacher Practice Network, a Tennessee Educator Voice Fellow, an educational blogger, and a 3-5 ELA Consultant for District 2 District. Additionally, England is a co-founder of the East Tennessee Teacher Advisory Group.
She graduated from East Tennessee State University with a B.S. in elementary education and earned an M.S. in educational administration and supervision, and an Ed.S. in curriculum and instruction from Lincoln Memorial University.
