Sexton sentences Criminal Court VOPs

Claiborne County Criminal Court Judge E. Shayne Sexton recently found the following individuals in violation of their supervised release and remanded them to Tennessee Department of Corrections (TDOC) custody. These violators were prosecuted by the office of the District Attorney General Jared Effler.

Shawn Hensley was previously convicted of aggravated assault, and received a six-year sentence, which was suspended and which was to be supervised by TDOC. He was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was sentenced to serve his six-year sentence in TDOC custody.

Brock A. Farley was previously convicted of the charge of attempted burglary and received a sentence of five years to be supervised by TDOC. He was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was sentenced to serve his five-year sentence in TDOC custody.

Anthony Hensley was previously convicted of burglary, and received a four-year sentence, which was suspended and which was to be supervised by TDOC. He was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was sentenced to serve his four-year sentence in TDOC custody.

Dora Hoskins was previously convicted of fraudulent receipt of food assistance, and received a two-year sentence, which was suspended and which was to be supervised by TDOC. She was found guilty of violating the terms of her release and was sentenced to serve her two-year sentence in TDOC custody.

Phillip Meredith was previously convicted of aggravated assault, and received a six-year sentence, which was suspended and which was to be supervised by TDOC. He was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was sentenced to serve his six-year sentence in TDOC custody.

Benjamin Miracle was previously convicted of sale or delivery of a schedule III, controlled substance, and received a four-year sentence, which was suspended and which was to be supervised by TDOC. He was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was sentenced to serve his four-year sentence in TDOC custody.

John Robinson II was previously convicted of the charges of escape; aggravated burglary; two counts of theft over $1,000; vandalism over $1,000; theft under $500; and burglary, and received a sentence of four years to be supervised by TDOC. He was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was ordered to serve the remainder of his four-year sentence in TDOC custody.

Conan David Smith was previously convicted of the charges of aggravated burglary and theft over $1,000, and received an effective six-year sentence, which was suspended and which was to be supervised by TDOC. He was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was sentenced to serve his six-year sentence in TDOC custody.

Larry Trammel was previously convicted of sale of schedule III, controlled substance, and received a two-year sentence, which was suspended and which was to be supervised by TDOC. He was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was sentenced to serve his two-year sentence in TDOC custody.

Jason Fowler was previously convicted of the charge of aggravated burglary and received a sentence of six years to be supervised by TDOC. He was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was sentenced to serve his six-year sentence in TDOC custody.

Nathan Jones was previously convicted of the charges of forgery (three counts) and theft under $500 (three counts), and received a five-year sentence, which was suspended and which was to be supervised by TDOC. He was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was sentenced to serve his five-year sentence in TDOC custody.

Victoria Wade was previously convicted of possession of a schedule IV, controlled substance with intent to deliver, and received a four-year sentence, which was suspended and which was to be supervised by TDOC. She was found guilty of violating the terms of her release and was sentenced to serve her four-year sentence in TDOC custody.

Darrell Veach was previously convicted of sale of a schedule II, controlled substance, and received a four-year sentence, which was suspended and which was to be supervised by TDOC. He was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was sentenced to serve his four-year sentence in TDOC custody.

Lance Singleton was previously convicted of the charges of aggravated burglary and theft over $1,000, and received an effective six-year sentence, which was suspended and which was to be supervised by TDOC. He was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was sentenced to serve his six-year sentence in TDOC custody.

Dustin Collins was previously convicted of two counts of theft over $500, and one count of vandalism over $500, and received an effective sentence of six years to be supervised by TDOC. He was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was ordered to serve the remainder of his six-year sentence in TDOC custody.

Paul Carroll was previously convicted of the charge of vandalism over $500, and received two-year sentence, which was suspended and which was to be supervised by TDOC. He was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was sentenced to serve his two-year sentence in TDOC custody.

Roger Leffew Jr. was previously convicted of the charge of theft over $1,000 and received four-year sentence, which was suspended and which was to be supervised by TDOC. He was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was sentenced to serve his four-year sentence in TDOC custody.

Emma Parish was previously convicted of the charge of facilitation of aggravated burglary, and received a two-year sentence, which was suspended and which was to be supervised by TDOC. She was found guilty of violating the terms of her release and was sentenced to serve her two-year sentence in TDOC custody.

Megan Paul was previously convicted of the charges of aggravated assault and coercion of a witness, and received an effective four-year sentence, which was suspended and which was to be supervised by TDOC. She was found guilty of violating the terms of her release and was sentenced to serve her four-year sentence in TDOC custody.
